I admit most of his stuff is way too much for me, but he is a creative genius just the same. If you have not looked at his website, have some fun and check it out.
Too much going on, for me. I prefer simplicity, I guess.
He's great at mixing styles, scale, color & creating flow in dynamic spaces. Not all of his rooms are for me but each inspires ideas. Pure magic.Garden & Be Well, XO Tara
In a New York penthouse kind of sexy way, I did it.
His work is really growing on me..I love the effect lacquered walls have ... the tiny green kitchen he did ... i think in Elle Decor...LOVE that..and the blue lacquer walls in a recent publication that were done in an entryway..stunning! He's like...funky traditional with a hip mix o'modern! Happy New Year!
LOVE Miles Redd... especially the small rooms filled with color and pattern. His own apartment here in L.A. (published in HB I think) was one of my favorites of last year.
HECK YES...I DIG IT...JUST WISH I WAS THAT DARING AND COULD REALLY PULL IT OFF! THANKS FOR THE PRETTY IDEAS! HAVE A GREAT 2010...COME SAY HI :D
I like the second picture and the porch...Christine
I can find something I love in each room. I do love the mixture of colors & textures. The second is also my favorite.
One thing they all are is cozy. He must try to creat that feeling. Fun to look at!Kelly
I like it !
So very fun and inviting. I would love any of these rooms.Ruthie
Definitly appreciate the combination of unexpected textures and bold use of color.
Love the DRAMA.~janet
*V-girl~~~~~~ I only see "you" in possibly pics #3 n' #4, but I CAN relate to such a departure from the norm now n' then~~~ keeps 'em guessin', hmmmm?????Big hugs,Linda *firstname.lastname@example.org
Linda, you know me well...You are so right! But I do know talent when I see it. lol
Me, too! Don't know, tho, if I could live there, but I like looking! Happy New Year. I know you and yours have a lot to look forward to. cheers, -susan
A bit too funky for me I am afraid, just wanted to wish you a Happy New Year!!
I adore the first picture! So chic!!
I feel his use of pattern, textures and color reflect his training as a Fashion Design student and the 'funky traditional' appeal of his Interior Design work echoes 'Preppie'.Do I actually care for his work, count me as undecided. SMILES -Brenda-
I love that brenda, great comment!
Oooo the art in the first one scares me.BUTI love the final image. Gorgeous couch!
Fun to look at but I couldn't "do" it!xx
He is very dramatic, isn't he. I like his use of color, placement of art on the walls and the chairs that he uses. I like his style. Hugs, Cindy S.
I love the rooms! They are all very cosy to me!!xxGreetHAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
